Public Notice: Actions Taken At May 25, 2025 Accreditation Commission Meeting

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, the Accreditation Commission of the Association of Advanced Rabbinical and Talmudic Schools (“AC”) took the following actions:

Renewal in Accreditation Status

Telshe Yeshiva Chicago – For a period to end on September 1, 2032.

Talmudical Seminary Oholei Torah – For a period to end on August 1, 2032.

Yeshiva of Kasho – For a period to end on February 1, 2030.

Initial Recognition

Meor Hatorah – For a period to end on April 1, 2029.

All of the above actions were taken as a result of the schools having been found to satisfy the relevant AARTS standards and requirements, as applicable to each application.

This notice is published in accordance with Federal Regulations governing the recognition of accrediting agencies.

Information about the Accreditation Commission can be readily obtained in the Handbook of the Association, available by phone (212-363-1991), mail (2329 Nostrand Avenue, Suite M200, Brooklyn, NY  11210) or by email (office@aarts.org). Information regarding each individual member institution is available through the AARTS office. This information includes each school’s address and telephone number, its accreditation status, quantitative indicators of student achievement selected by the school and its performance. For schools which maintain websites containing this information we will provide the website address.
