Public Notice: Actions Taken At February 23, 2025 Accreditation Commission Meeting

I. On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the Accreditation Commission of the Association of Advanced Rabbinical and Talmudic Schools (“AC”) took the following actions:

Renewal in Accreditation Status

Central Yeshiva Beth Joseph – For a period to end on March 1, 2029.

Continuation in Accreditation Status

Beis Medrash Heichal Dovid – For a period to end on May 1, 2028.

Yeshiva Beth Moshe – For a period to end on May 1, 2028.

Yeshiva of Nitra – For a period to end on June 1, 2028.

II. On February 25, 2025 AARTS senior staff (as authorized by the AC) took the following action:

Beis Medrash Heichal Dovid – Approval of expansion of scope to include an Intermediary Level Degree

All of the above actions were taken as a result of the schools having been found to satisfy the relevant AARTS standards and requirements, as applicable to each application.

This notice is published in accordance with Federal Regulations governing the recognition of accrediting agencies.

Information about the Accreditation Commission can be readily obtained in the Handbook of the Association, available by phone (212-363-1991), mail (2329 Nostrand Avenue, Suite M200, Brooklyn, NY  11210) or by email (office@aarts.org). Information regarding each individual member institution is available through the AARTS office. This information includes each school’s address and telephone number, its accreditation status, quantitative indicators of student achievement selected by the school and its performance. For schools which maintain websites containing this information we will provide the website address.
