AARTS – The Association of Advanced Rabbinical and Talmudic Schools

The Association of Advanced Rabbinical and Talmudic Schools (AARTS) is a membership organization comprised exclusively of advanced rabbinical and Talmudic post-secondary schools. Within this specialized area of higher education studies, AARTS establishes and promotes academic and administrative guidelines and best practices. The AARTS' member institutions are governed by an Executive Committee comprised of Roshei Yeshiva and public members.

The Accreditation Commission of AARTS accredits and monitors AARTS member institutions through peer review and the diligent application of its standards, fostering and maintaining accountability and enhancements. The Accreditation Commission of AARTS has been recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accreditor of advanced rabbinical and Talmudic post-secondary schools since 1974.

AARTS was led for half a century by the vision and fortitude of Dr. Bernard Fryshman. He continues to offer advice and guidance to AARTS as Executive Vice-President Emeritus.
